1988
The founding of ADIB
Founded in the Pas-de-Calais (62), the company specialized in the distribution of glass bricks and glass blocks on the French market, thereby laying the foundations of its expertise in decorative wall coverings.
2012
Acquisition of ADIB’s operations
David Penez, CEO of Penez-Herman, a specialist in outdoor design, took over ADIB’s operations. This acquisition marked the beginning of a new era, driven by strong ambitions for growth and diversification.
2013
Acquisition and integration of the Lithos brand
The arrival of Lithos, a brand specializing in cladding panels, significantly expanded ADIB’s offering and met growing demand for decorative wall solutions.
2015
Warehouse expansion
To support business growth and improve logistics, ADIB expanded its warehouses in Fouquières-lès-Lens, thereby optimizing its storage capacity and responsiveness to customers and partners.
2016
Managerial evolution and internal development
Arnaud Grimault took over as Managing Director, marking a turning point in the company’s strategy and ushering in a new phase of development.

Creation of the purchasing department
The establishment of a dedicated purchasing department enables more precise supply management, the development of supplier relationships, and better cost control, ensuring responsiveness and competitiveness.
2017
Creation of the Excel Stone purchasing office
ADIB opened a purchasing office in Asia to directly manage its partner factories. This integrated organization allows for greater control over the supply chain and strengthens quality monitoring.
2020
Expansion of infrastructure and internal services
To support the company’s growth and improve employee comfort, ADIB once again expanded its warehouses, significantly increasing storage capacity. At the same time, office space was extended to accommodate new departments, and a cafeteria and meeting room were created to provide a more functional and welcoming work environment.
2020
Achievement of FSC® certification
ADIB is firmly committed to forest protection and the responsible use of wood. Achieving FSC® certification (FSC® C155211) confirms the traceability of the materials used and the company’s environmental commitment.
2021
Creation of the marketing department
ADIB brought its communication in-house to strengthen its brand identity and promote its ranges to partners. This department also structures the digital strategy and supports commercial development.
2022
Launch of the Vertigo brand
ADIB expanded its catalog with the launch of the VERTIGO brand, a range of acoustic panels combining modern design and acoustic comfort, meeting market expectations for sound insulation and interior decoration.
2023
Creation of the quality department
ADIB established a quality department to ensure product compliance, strengthen quality controls, and guarantee customer satisfaction. This team also integrates a CSR approach, ensuring that the solutions offered comply with current standards while respecting the environment and user safety.
2025
Acquisition of Mat Inter’s operations
ADIB announced the acquisition of Mat Inter, a key player in the wall decoration and DIY market. This transaction marks a significant step in its growth strategy, enabling ADIB to strengthen its leading position in the market and expand its offering to customers.
